Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2. Collect rental fees from individuals or entities renting a marina slip. Rental fees shall be a maximum of $1500 per season per vessel, unless approved otherwise in writing by the DEEP Boating Division. 3. Maintain the marina and boat launch seven (7) days a week during the contract period, excluding major structural repairs. See Maintenance definition below. 4. Efficiently and effectively address marina slip renter’s concerns and questions with regard to marina operations and maintenance. 5. Coordinate with DEEP Boating Division as needed to provide assistance at the boat launch and aquatic invasive species management information. 6. Report any dumped material or vandalism on DEEP property to the DEEP Boating Division as soon as possible, but within 24 hours of discovery. During off hours and on weekends and holidays, the contractor shall also report such incidents to the DEEP EnCon Police Dispatch office at (860) 424-3333. 7. Inform boat launch and marina users of applicable regulations regarding facility operations and motorboat usage. 8. Immediately report illegal activity on the property and regulation violations to the DEEP EnCon Police Dispatch office - within one hour of the incident. 9. Educate marina and boat launch patrons both verbally and through distribution of written materials supplied by DEEP about aquatic invasive species prevention methods following training by DEEP Boating Division staff in aquatic invasive species prevention.
