This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for professional A&E services, encompassing the planning, design, and construction oversight required for the conversion of existing classroom space at New Milford High School. The project's ultimate goal is to transform this space into a fully functional, state-of-the-art Culinary Classroom that meets all current local, state, and federal building and accessibility codes. The chosen firm will be responsible for delivering a design that ensures the new facility is a safe and efficient learning environment, specifically addressing the unique requirements of a modern instructional kitchen. Project Goal: Convert an existing standard classroom space into a fully functional, code-compliant culinary instruction room, including commercial-grade kitchen equipment, proper utility services, and appropriate ventilation and fire suppression.
