Sealed bids will be received by Woodmoor Water & Sanitation District No. 1 (WWSD) at their office located at 1845 Woodmoor Drive, Monument, CO 80132 until 3:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, August 31, 2023, for the Well No. 22 project.
Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.
The Work of this Contract consists of all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials for construction of the Well No. 22 well house, pump, motor, drop pipe, and all associated piping, electrical, and controls. Work to include all associated site work related to the project.
Close coordination between onsite contractors is imperative. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to coordinate execution schedules, equipment, and working spaces to avoid any delays to the project. All project impacts and delays shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor and shall under no circumstances incur additional costs to WWSD.
Bids shall be on a lump sum basis per the bid form.
A notice to proceed is anticipated by September 2023.
The District designates the following person, as its representative and Point-of-Contact for this RFP. Respondents shall restrict all contact with the District and direct all questions in writing regarding this RFP to the below Point-of-Contact person:

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the office of WWSD located at 1845 Woodmoor Drive, Monument, CO 80132 at 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, August 17, 2023. All participating bidders are required to attend.
Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a Bid security in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check or a bidder’s bond in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a performance bond guaranteeing faithful performance and a labor and material payment bond guaranteeing payment of all debts arising out of the work.
No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the date Bids are opened.
Woodmoor Water & Sanitation District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
