Sealed bids for the drilling, construction, and testing of one Arapahoe aquifer water supply well for
Woodmoor Water and Sanitation District No. 1, for municipal supply, will be received by
Woodmoor Water and Sanitation District No. 1 at their office located at 1845 Woodmoor Drive,
Monument, Colorado until 1:30 pm local time, MAY 4TH, 2022 and then publicly opened and read
aloud. The well will be located at 1755 County Line Road, Monument, CO 80132, generally in
Section 2, Township 11 South, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. The well will be completed under
Permit No. 86472-F in the Arapahoe aquifer. Work on this project is anticipated to commence no
later than May 25, 2022 and proceed on a 24-hour basis during drilling and well completion. The
project shall be substantially complete within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued
and finally complete within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued.

Electronic copies of the Bidder’s Qualification Statement and Bid Proposal Schedule are available
for Contractor’s use at the FTP site location presented above.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Woodmoor Water and Sanitation District
No. 1 office at located at 1845 Woodmoor Drive, Monument CO 80132 at 1:30 PM/MST, March
29, 2022. The representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to answer questions. Any
questions which, in the opinion of Engineer, cannot be answered by direct reference to the Bidding
Documents will be answered by formal written Addenda as outlined above under Interpretations
and Addenda.
The pre-bid conference will include a tour of the site conducted by representatives of Owner and
Engineer. All interested parties are invited to attend.
Bidders will not be required to submit a bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to supply
one performance bond and one labor and material bond. In addition, the successful bidder will be
required to supply evidence of public liability and property damage insurance, and Workmen’s
Compensation insurance in accordance with Colorado statutes.
