B1600174 - Public Safety UCS, MDS, Nexus

Weld County is seeking a bid for a Cisco UCS blade solution that will integrate with the county’s Cisco network, EMC VPlex metro cluster, and EMC unity storage infrastructure. The complete solution proposed will need to be an always available architecture because of the nature of the application. This proposal should also include four Cisco MDS fabric switches that will be part of the UCS Blades and EMC storage back bone and should support VMware Metro storage cluster functionality.  The solution should be scalable if expansion is required at a later date.  The proposed products must be 5 years from EOS/EOL (End of support/End of life).  Bidders must not propose products that have reached or are near end of life.
