Description

The Upper Thompson Sanitation District (District) in the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado is seeking a qualified vendor to provide contracted Information Technology Managed Services to begin in Q2 2023. The ideal vendor will provide technical support, assistance, hardware and software management and troubleshooting, system maintenance and training, and ongoing up-to-date cybersecurity solutions and protection. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) describes background information, submission requirements, and selection criteria for the IT Managed Services Provider (MSP).

Upper Thompson Sanitation District is a quasi-municipal corporation and political subdivision operating as a Special District. Upper Thompson Sanitation District provides wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment to approximately 4,500 customers throughout the Estes Valley. As a critical infrastructure facility, protecting public health and safety, the District is in operation 24 x 365. When emergencies occur, the District must respond quickly and efficiently to ensure the treatment plant remains operational and staff have access to communication and information as needed. The right vendor will stand alongside the District to ensure equipment and software is kept up to date, to protect it from security threats, and be a responsive and reliable partner to the District.

Building Locations: 3 (100-300 yards from each other, connected either by fiber or ethernet).
Total Number of Employees: 16
Remote Employees: Varies- can be up to 10 at one time.
Current Technical Environment: 20 Desktops, 5 Laptops, 12 iPads, 2 servers (1 physical, 1 virtual), video camera security system, Poly videoconferencing system, SCADA system PC’s.

For additional information, all vendors interested in responding to this project must attend a mandatory virtual pre-submittal meeting via the Microsoft Teams platform where additional District IT information will be shared including hardware, software, connectivity, remote access / VPN, applications, backups, antivirus, cybersecurity and remote support software used by the District.

Vendors are required to acknowledge the Addenda within the cover letter.

Response to the RFQ is to be submitted electronically to Suzanne Jurgens, the Assistant District Manager of the Upper Thompson Sanitation District: suzanne@utsd.org. The deadline for submitting the response is 2:00 PM MST, Friday, February 17, 2023. Late submittals will not be accepted. An acknowledgement email will be sent shortly after receipt, confirming the submission. If acknowledgment of receipt is not received, please contact Suzanne Jurgens at 970-586-4544.
