Description

The University of Northern Colorado and Weld County Trust are teaming up to broaden the
capabilities of the Bear Pantry with a new location, including offices for casework and a common
area lounge. The University of Northern Colorado strives to ensure that all community members
– students and employees – have access to the food and basic non-food items they need. The
Bear Pantry is where community members can receive help with these items.
The Project consists of remodeling the existing Computer Commons space of the University
Center Building. The University Center is on the UNC Campus. This space will become a new
Student Resource Center and Offices for the Center for Student Wellbeing. The awarded
contractor must understand that the building will need to remain open and in operation throughout
the construction and renovation of the space.
Scope of Services
Provide all labor, materials and equipment to perform all operations in connection with the
Project Manual Bid Set and Construction Drawings dated August 8, 2024 provided by Holland
Basham Architects.

Minimum Requirements
Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that all firms will be required to meet all minimum
requirements to be considered for this project. Interested bidders should be prepared to show
evidence of the following to be considered as qualified, as a minimum:
1. Provided General Contracting services within the last three (3) years for at least two (2) projects
each in excess of $ 600,000 (hard costs) , utilizing the expertise present in their
Colorado Office; and
2. Demonstrated specific General Contracting experience in projects of similar scope and
complexity; and
3. Demonstrated bonding capability up to $ 600,000 for an individual project
coincidentally with current and anticipated workloads; provide letter from surety that affirms this
capacity.
