The University of Northern Colorado is requesting Statements of Qualification from firms
for 3rd Party Building Commissioning for the University of Northern Colorado College of
Osteopathic Medicine Project.
The College of Medicine (approximately 101,000 GSF) will be located on the northeast
corner of the 11th Ave & 20th St intersection. UNC is targeting a LEED GOLD Certification
of the project and will comply with all State of Colorado High Performance Certification
Program (HPCP) requirements.
The total estimated cost of the project is $127 million. The estimated “Fixed Limit of
Construction Cost” for the project is $111,700,000. The project will be constructed using a
Design/Build Integrated Project Delivery Method.
Minimum Requirements are as follows:
Minimum Requirements for this project include a license to practice Engineering in
Colorado, and completion of projects of similar scope and complexity.
Scope will include, but not be limited to the following:
• Provide 3rd Party Building Commissioning services to comply with all LEED
requirements during the Design, Construction, Start-up, and Warranty phases
of the project.
• We will pursue LEED Credits for “Fundamental Commissioning and
Verification” and may pursue LEED Credits for “Enhanced Commissioning”
