This contract includes rehabilitating the 7th Street bridge over the Poudre River. Repairs to the double tee beams are scheduled at the seams, abutments, and stems, and the asphalt deck will be removed and replaced with concrete.
This Project is being funded by an Off-System Bridge Program Grant and shall have Davis Bacon Wages. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as outlined in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Only Bidders pre-qualified in accordance with the Rules for Pre-Qualification, Debarment, Bidding, and Work on Colorado Department of Transportation projects will be allowed to bid on the Project. Bids will be accepted only by pre-qualified bidders.
The Town of Windsor has determined that Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (UDBEs) will participate by contracting for a part of the work of this Contract. The contract goal for participation in this Contract by certified DBEs who have been determined to be underutilized has been established as twelve (12%) percent.
The On the Job Training (OJT) goal is set to 320 Hours
