This is a reissue of the same IFB plublished previously with a closing date of March 8th, 2024. Due to an issue publishing the addendum, we are reopening this IFB until March 15th, 2024 at 3pm to allow all plan holders a fair opportunity to resubmit bid numbers and proposals.
The Town of Telluride is seeking Bids for the 2024 Street, Alley and Utility improvements to include the following Work Items:
Work Item #1: 500 Blk East Columbia Avenue [Maple to Hemlock]. This portion of the WORK involves milling
2 inches of asphalt, and then placing 2.5 inches of new compacted asphalt (SX75 58-28). Areas
with pavement failure following the milling operation will be identified and marked by the
Engineer for full depth patch. All millings will be hauled to the wide spot on the Spur. Any asphalt
removal with mixed materials will be hauled away. (See Work Item #1 500 Block E Columbia
schematic.)
Work Item #2: 500 Block West Colorado Avenue [Davis to Townsend] This portion of the WORK involves milling
2 inches of asphalt, and then placing 2 inches of new compacted asphalt (SX75 58-28). Areas with
pavement failure following the milling operation will be identified and marked by the Engineer for
full depth patch. All millings will be hauled to the wide spot on the Spur. Any asphalt removal with
mixed materials will be hauled away. (See Work Item #2 500 Block W Colorado schematic.)
Work Item #3: East Colorado Avenue [Pine to Alder]. This portion of the WORK involves milling 2 inches of
asphalt, and then placing 2.5 inches of new compacted asphalt (SX75 58-28). Areas with pavement
failure following the milling operation will be identified and marked by the Engineer for full depth
patch. All millings will be hauled to the wide spot on the Spur. Any asphalt removal with mixed
materials will be hauled away. This must be scheduled for the fall. (See Work Item #3 E Colorado

Work Item #4a: 400 Block Pandora East Half - BID ALTERNATE 1. This portion of the WORK involves milling
existing road surface materials and hauling them away for disposal, placing and compacting Class 6
road base, as needed, then furnishing and installing 5 inches of asphalt. (See Work Item #4a 400

Work Item #4b: 600 Block West Colorado Avenue – Widen Travel Way by 4 feet - BID ALTERNATE 2. This
portion of the WORK involves widening the south side of West Colorado Avenue by 4 feet by
placing and compacting 6 inches of Class 6 road base or equivalent, or more as needed to level the
south edge of the asphalted right of way to a 2% slope, then furnishing and installing 7 inches of

Work Item #5: Town Park Asphalt. This portion of the WORK involves removing 10 feet of asphalt and several
inches of base west of the existing 8-inch-thick concrete valley pan and replacing it with 6 inches of
asphalt patch. East of the valley pan, scarify and remove 6 inches of native material, place back and
compact 6 inches of Class 6 road base or equivalent, and place 4 inches of asphalt (SX75-58-28).

Work Item #6: 100 Block North Maple Street. This portion of the WORK involves milling 2 inches of asphalt, and
then placing 2 inches of new compacted asphalt (SX75 58-28). Areas with pavement failure
following the milling operation will be identified and marked by the Engineer for full depth patch.
All millings will be hauled to the wide spot on the Spur. Any asphalt removal with mixed materials

Work Item #7: 100 Blk North Willow Street. This portion of the WORK involves milling existing road surface
materials and hauling them away for disposal, placing and compacting Class 6 road base, as
