2022-02 - Request for Proposals For Grand Writing Services

INTRODUCTION
The Town of Monument (“Town”) invites qualified candidates to submit proposals for contractual grant writing services.  The Town is seeking to contract with an individual or firm that specializes in the management of the overall grant process and can assist the Town to maximize the benefits of grant funding. 

BACKGROUND
It is the intention of the Town to apply for grants which address documented Town needs associated with service delivery and necessary capital infrastructure improvements.  In addition, it is the intent of the Town to apply for grants which not only are consistent with identified Town needs but those grants that can be property and efficiently administered by staff taking into account existing duties and responsibilities.    The goal of the Town’s grant program is to secure funding for services and projects which the Town otherwise would be required to utilize local tax dollars.

Proposal Conditions and Information
Proposals must be received by the Town of Monument by 5:00 p.m. on February 28, 2022.  Late proposals will not be considered.  The Town highly encourages early submission of proposals. 

Proposer shall submit one electronic version of the proposal including any supporting documentation addressed as follows:

                        Proposal Attached – RFP for Grant Writing Services
 
Questions regarding this proposal must be submitted in writing to Madeline VanDenHoek by 5:00 pm on February 14, 2022.  Answers will be posted to the Town’s website. No communications of any kind will be binding against the Town, except for formal written responses to any written requests for clarification.
