This RFP is issued as part of a selection process for ongoing and on-call civil engineering, transportation design, utility design, plan review, and field observation services during construction and other technical support services related to this work. Services will be ordered through issuance of a task order or other form from time to time.
The work requires civil engineering input, design review, oversight of plans for and installation or construction of, and enforcement of warranty obligations related to, public infrastructure to include roads, traffic control, curb, gutter, water lines, and wastewater lines. Such infrastructure is installed by a third party (usually as part of the development of a new residential or commercial subdivision) and warranted and eventually accepted for ownership and ongoing maintenance by the Town.
