The Town of Firestone’s current Master Plan was adopted in 2013 and since then the Town has undergone significant growth and changes. The awarded Firm shall provide a wide range of services for the new Comprehensive Master Plan that will include, but not limited to, the following focus areas to ensure the Town manages growth in a way that aligns with the Town’s values, vision, and goals:
• Robust, well-rounded public outreach and engagement
• Evaluation of existing conditions such as current land use and zoning, population, economic development and commercial and housing trends
• Policy, goal, objective and implementation strategy development including recommendations for programs and modifications to the Firestone Development Code (FDC) and other Town Plans
• Coordination and collaboration with outside government agencies and stakeholders
• Evaluation and viability of innovative development trends
• Urban design and architectural standards
• Plan preparation and graphic design
• Future Land Use Map (Town GIS compatibility)
