The Town of Firestone seeks proposals from qualified and experienced Police Records Consultants to conduct a comprehensive operational assessment of the Police Department Records Unit.
The assessment aims to evaluate and enhance records management processes, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, optimize workflows, manage workloads, and prepare for the transition from the current Central Square Records Management System (RMS) to the Axon RMS platform, which is scheduled for implementation in late 2025.
With the evolving statutory requirements, industry standards, and best practices, the Department seeks full compliance across all records management areas. This includes confirming that current technology supports staff needs, fostering effective collaboration with county and municipal prosecutors, adhering to statutory reporting guidelines, and identifying operational improvements that may impact staffing and resource utilization
