The Town of Avon seeks Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide professional Transit Planning, Engineering and Environmental, Technology, and Financial Analysis Services for a multi-agency effort to form a Regional Transportation Authority (RTA.) The RTA formation effort is seeking an optimal way to plan, finance, implement and operate a regional public transportation system that better meets the needs of residents, visitors, and businesses in Eagle County. The proposed formation of an RTA will provide local municipal agencies the opportunity to consolidate transportation services and improve efficiency, while ultimately providing better transportation options for the community.
