The Superior Cultural Arts and Public Spaces (CAPS) Advisory Committee, in collaboration with two Town of Superior Advisory Committees, Open Space Advisory Committee and Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee, are accepting applications for a design feature to be located the Oerman-Roche trailhead to celebrate the history and natural attributes of the site. Creatives working in three-dimensional design are eligible to apply and be considered for a site-specific design commission and/or submit images of existing sculpture available for direct purchase. The max budget is $30,000.
APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY
All applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents at least 18 years of age. Eligible applicants include creatives working in three-dimensional design, including but not limited to, public artists, sculptors, architects or landscape architects. If applying for the site-specific design commission, applicants may apply as an individual or as a team of multi-disciplinary professionals. If applying for the site-specific design commission, applicants must demonstrate experience with site-specific design in order to qualify.
