Sealed BIDS for construction of the Town of Mancos Water Systems Upgrade project will be received at the offices of the Town of Mancos at Mancos Town Hall, 117 N. Main St., Mancos CO 81328, until 3:00pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project generally consists of the following improvements to the Town of Mancos domestic water system:
- Construction of 600+/- lf of water main, appurtenances, and reconnection of existing taps. This work includes abandoning an existing main in place.
- The removal of existing PRV facilities, construction of new PRV facilities.
- The construction of new meters and meter pits for raw and treated water at the water treatment plant.
- Construction of 600+/- lf of raw water transmission main and general improvements to the Town of Mancos West Mancos River raw water intake facility.
- All work shall be completed per Town of Mancos and Montezuma County standards.
All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will only be accepted from qualified general contractors that have demonstrated experience in construction projects of this type.
A Bid Bond, in the amount of 5% will be required and must accompany the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required upon contract award.
