Description

The Town of Lyons is seeking right of way services to assist with obtaining a temporary construction easement to tie in stream grading onto private property following the Uniform Relocation Act.

Assist the Town with the process of eminent domain utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act process

Work with property owner to come to an agreement for a temporary construction easement. All offers and negotiated agreements have to be approved by the Board of Trustees.
Document communications with any property owner regarding requests for information on behalf of applicants, and/or challenges that may arise
Possibly obtain appraisal of impacted property
Assist the Town in litigation if necessary
Guide the Town on the processes of the Uniform Relocation Act.
