The site of the work is within the Town of Fraser. The work generally consists of the following major
items:
A. Site Controls: Includes construction survey, traffic controls, erosion controls, and
materials testing quality controls.
B. Site Demolition: Includes the demolition of existing gravel, asphalt, pavement, cross
pans, curb and gutters, and sidewalk. Existing fences, retaining wall, and landscaping
will also be removed where indicated in the drawings.
C. Site Grading: Grading as indicated in the drawings. Import and export necessary to
meet design grades as determined by Contractor.
D. Asphalt Paving: Includes subbase preparation and conditioning, placement and
compaction of base course, mixing, application, and compaction of Hot Mix Asphalt
(HMA) to design standards specified in the drawings and relevant specifications.
E. Hardscape: Includes concrete paving, curb & gutter, cross pans, colored concrete
sidewalks, truncated domes, existing manhole adjustments, handicapped ramps,
roadway signage, and street striping. Site furnishings will include bench seating, trash
receptacles, planters, bike racks, and bollards.
F. Electrical: Scope includes new Town service to power street lights and EV chargers.
Includes electrical service meter cabinet, MPEI coordination, light posts, post bases,
light fixtures, conduit, wiring, pull boxes, and two EV charging stations.
