Specifications include, but are not limited to: Monitor the front entrance and remain at the Post except when the security guard is responding to a security incident ; Prevent, detect, and appropriately control incidents of criminal activity and/or threats to state assets (e.g. fire, theft, vandalism, unauthorized access to the building, illness or injury (for example, performing CPR or using an automated external defibrillator), protests, disgruntled customers/visitors/employees, intruder or violence). 4.3.5.3. Patrol the exterior of the building three times each day, including exit doors and South, West, and North sides of the building. ; Keep trespassers and loiterers off the property, and contact law enforcement, as necessary, to ensure the health, safety and security of employees and visitors to CDE. 4.3.5.5. Defuse conflict situations and assist with other security and safety related issues within or near the building. 4.3.5.6. Monitor CDE’s security cameras and defuse any security or safety issues viewed on camera.
