Sponsorship Solicitation: • Identifying potential sponsors. • Developing sponsorship packages and proposals tailored to various levels of sponsorship. • Engaging with potential sponsors through meetings, presentations, and follow-ups. • Securing commitments from sponsors. • Reporting to and communicating with the fair board president (or his or her sole designee) regarding questions, clarifications, and/or processes. Sponsorship Management: • Managing and fulfilling sponsorship agreements, ensuring that all sponsor benefits are delivered as promised. • Coordinating with the fair board and other stakeholders to integrate sponsorships into fair activities. • Providing regular updates and reports to the fair board on the status of sponsorships. Marketing and Promotion: • Collaborating with the fair board's marketing team to ensure sponsors receive appropriate recognition in marketing materials, on the fairgrounds, and during events. • Assisting in the creation of promotional content that highlights sponsors. This includes: • Creating social media content for sponsorship promotion to be reviewed by Event Center/Fairgrounds (EC/FG) director (or his or her designee) to ensure appropriateness; • Providing information to Montrose County’s Communications Department regarding sponsorships for creation of radio advertisements; • Communicating with EC/FG director (or his or her designee) regarding banner placement, sponsorship supply placement, and sponsor requests. Post-Fair Reporting: • Providing a comprehensive report at the end of the fair detailing sponsorship outcomes, including sponsor feedback, financial results, and recommendations for future fairs.
