Specifications include, but are not limited to:of the Keep Montrose Moving 2018 Streets Maintenance Project in accordance with the project plans and specifications. This work includes the following key tasks. A. Perform removals as necessary to accommodate new construction including, but not limited to, sidewalks, flatwork, valley pans, curb and gutter, and asphalt. B. Perform asphalt patching to include saw cutting or wheel rolling to a neat line, asphalt removal within patch areas, overexcavation and replacement of base soils where required, and asphalt replacement. C. Mill and overlay streets with asphalt pavement. This includes both straight milling and edge taper milling. D. Mill streets full depth, reconstruct base course, and repave with asphalt pavement. E. Cape seal (chip seal plus slurry seal) streets. F. Upsize storm drain inlet and piping structures. G. Perform waterline replacements to include open‐cut trench installations, directionally‐drilled road crossings, and removal of existing AC pipe where in conflict with improvements. H. Construct new concrete curb and gutter, valley pans, sidewalk, and curb ramps. I. Coordinate the relocation of dry utilities in conflict with the proposed improvements. J. Re‐establish lane markings on select roadways to receive a cape seal. K. Implement stormwater management (including preparation of a stormwater management plan and completion of a stormwater construction permit with CDPHE), traffic control (incl. traffic control plan), site security, site restoration, incidental surveying, and quality control testing as required to complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications. 1.2 SPECIFICATIONS All work shall be constructed in accordance with the project plans, the City of Montrose Standard Specifications for the Design and Construction of Public Improvements (City Standards and Specifications), and the provisions provided herein. In case of discrepancy, the following order of precedence will govern: 1. Permits from other agencies and applicable laws and regulations. 2. Bid Documents and Addenda 3.
