Specifications include, but are not limited to: The LA will be responsible for all aspects of design and contract administration. LA to provide incremental design packages that CM/GC can use to establish a GMP followed by bid packages. Responsibilities include researching sign locations, coordinating exact placement of each sign, modifications to adjacent landscape (mow bands) and irrigation (to keep irrigation water from spraying signs), electrical design for connecting each sign to the site lighting electrical, and demo/reuse of existing sign components as necessary. The LA will be responsible for engaging a surveying firm as required to complete the design. The selected LA will engage and include the services of Arthouse Design to consult and provide final signage design information and language for each sign. The University will be starting the first phase of the project by installing new signs that provide multi-entity, University, and information wayfinding. Phase one will be a combination of 23 multi-entity/single-entity/information signs. There will be 6 additional sign location alternates included in phase one. This project will not include the replacement of uchealth or Children’s Hospital signage. LA will be responsible to include all necessary sign details to allow multiple signage vendors to be able to supply identical signs over multiple phases and allow future repairs and modifications to be made. All necessary details such as dimensions, materials, lighting brightness & temperature, branding, colors, graphics, step down transformers, and any other components and details shall be provided. The design team will provide a final graphics package of reproducible files to the signage vendor and University for future usage.
