The work generally consists of modifying the existing approach slab expansion joints using the BEJS system or an approved equal method, remove approximately 2-1/2” existing asphalt surface on bridge deck, remove and replace existing bridge deck waterproof membrane, remove approximately 2-1/2” of existing asphalt surface on east and west bridge approaches, remove and replace approximately 150 Ft x 25 Ft, 0”-4” deep, asphalt pavement at East end of the bridge and remove and replace approximately 30 Ft x 25 Ft, 0”-2” deep, asphalt pavement at West end of the bridge, for profile correction. The site location is 6th Ave, between Kiowa-Bennett Rd and Wolf Creek Rd.
