19-206 - Westgate Community Sidewalks,

The Scope of this Professional Service Agreement includes the design for the construction of the Project.  Project will construct approximately 1,300 feet of sidewalk along the south side of 126th Avenue leading west from Lafayette Street to tie into the existing end of sidewalk located on the south side of 126th Avenue east of Westgate Community School (WCS).  Approximately 700 feet of sidewalk will be constructed along the west side of Lafayette Street, between Eastlake Avenue and 126th Avenue.  A sidewalk will also be constructed across the south side of the Lafayette Street and Eastlake Avenue intersection.  An asphalt trail will be constructed between the Farmer’s Highline Trail (FHT) and the 126th Avenue and Lafayette Street intersection. Handicap ramps will be constructed at all intersections including access points along the route of the sidewalk.  A crosswalk and pedestrian activated flashing lights signal will be installed across the south leg of the 126th Avenue and Lafayette Street intersection.  School zone flashing lights will be installed at the at the south boundary of WCS on Washington Street, the east boundary on 126th Avenue, and on Washington Street just north of 126th Avenue.  The Consultant will be responsible for completing Project design, construction documents, Right-Of-Way (ROW) plans and documentation as required following the CDOT Local Agency Process.
