23-015 - Ultimate Kronos Group Managed Services

El Paso County is soliciting responses from qualified Vendors to provide professional managed services for the County’s workforce management software, Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG). The Digital, Strategy and Technology (DST) department supports the UKG environment with limited staff and resources. Professional managed services will be engaged to assist with enhancements, integrations to and from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System JD Edwards (JDE) for payroll processing and maintaining a stable system for the various UKG modules. The successful Vendor shall provide professional managed services for UKG software without impacting current software users.

Background: The County has been using UKG formerly known as Kronos Workforce Central for the past 8 years. UKG is the time and attendance system for Human Resources. The majority of El Paso County’s employee population (2600-3000) are users of the system. El Paso County’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is JD Edwards (JDE), which is integrated with UKG.

Each County department was implemented in phases with the most recent implementation for the Sherriff’s office in 2019. Since the initial implementation in 2014, managed services have been utilized to maintain support for the UKG environment.
