The Agricultural Research, Development and Education Center (ARDEC) at Colorado State University seeks firm pricing for a NEW/USED truck chassis with a NEW feedlot mixer feed box per the specifications section. ARDEC is part of a network of 8 Colorado Agriculture Experiment Station Research Centers that conduct research to meet agricultural production needs in different regions of the state. Located just four miles north of Fort Collins, ARDEC serves Colorado State University in facilitating many different agricultural related projects and research activities.

Colorado State University has a 2003 Kenworth feed truck with a Kuhn 5156 feed box available for trade-in. The truck will be available from 10am to 11am Tuesday, June 28, 2022, for firms to inspect the vehicle on site at the ARDEC Conference Center parking lot located at, 4482 E. Due date for this Documented Quote is Friday, July 1, 2022, at 4:00 PM MT. All respondents must submit the following required documents via electronic upload on Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (RMEPS) at www.rockymountainbidsystem.com by the due date and time. Responses are held in an electronic “lock-box” until the submission deadline. Mailed, faxed, and email responses are not accepted. CSU may request to inspect the truck chassis prior to award.
• Vendors must submit the DQ cover page with Ram head logo, signed.
• Vendors must submit the completed pricing schedule.
• Vendors must provide a specification sheet for both the truck chassis and feed box proposed.
• Vendor must submit warranty details for both the truck chassis and feed box.
• Vendors that propose a used chassis must provide VIN number, hour meter reading, and mileage to be verified upon inspection.
• For new vendors to CSU or vendors with recent name changes or tax ID changes - Vendors must complete the W-9 and Vendor Size Self-Certification form with signature.
