The El Paso County Department of Human Services Department requires transportation services for school-age children placed in Out of Home Placement. For some children residing in Out of Home Placement, the Department must provide transportation between their residence and the child's school. When these transportation services are needed, they generally consist of an extended period of regular transports two times per school-day, and to other various school activities such as summer camps.
The El Paso County Department of Human Services (Department) requires on-call transportation services for children and adults involved with the Department. There may be occasions where the Department requires transportation services to transport persons to various appointments, such as visitation, therapy, and treatment. The majority of travel will occur inside the borders of El Paso County; however, it is a possibility that transportation may initiate or terminate outside of the El Paso County geographical area.
