2020-001 - Sculpture Base and Foundation for WAAP (Westside Avenue Action Plan) Project

The City of Manitou Springs is accepting bids for the construction of a stainless steel sculpture support structure and corresponding micro-pile foundation, for a pocket park on the far west end of Manitou Avenue in Manitou Springs, CO.  Please reference the attachements for visual drawings and dimensions of the anticipated project structure and location.  The anticipated Scope of Services will include the following:

1. The Contractor will provide project costs for crews and equipment, anticipated mobilization time, and anticipated project completion time to the City at the Bid Deadline.

2. The Contractor will provide all material costs to the City at the Bid Deadline.

3. The Contractor will provide all fabrication costs to the City at the Bid Deadline.

4. The Contractor is responsible to provide all materials necessary for the fabrication, construction, and installation of the stainless steel support structure and micro-pile base. Sculptor to coordinate installation of the sculpture.

5. All waste shall be disposed of by the Contractor.

6. The Contractor shall provide all necessary traffic control, if needed, all traffic control personnel must at a minimum carry a current CDOT Flagger Certification.  A Traffic Control Plan must be submitted to and approved by City staff at the pre-construction meeting.
7. The Contractor is responsible for damages, inside or outside the project area.
    
8. The Contractor is responsible for their own confined space, roadway, and trenching safety procedures.
