Description

The work to be performed generally consists of approximately 3000 linear feet of new 24” sewer express line from Highway 6 to the new wastewater treatment plant through the Eagle River Estates neighborhood. A 8” raw water pumpback line will also be installed in the same trench. Groundwater and cobbles are expected in the excavation, which will extend down to approximately 20’ deep in areas. Following the pipe work, the work includes patching the trench with new asphalt.

Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Gypsum at the Community Development conference room, 50 Lundgren Boulevard, Gypsum, Colorado, until the closing listed above. All bids that have been duly received before the deadline will be opened publicly and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid.

Electronic copies of the Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents for use in preparing Bids may be obtained at www.TownOfGypsum.com/RFP-Open-Bids .

Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a cashier’s check, or a Bid Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment and Warranty Bond guaranteeing faithful performance.
