2019-055M19 (2) - NE Campus Storm Water Mitigation

Paving and placement of storm water infrastructure for the purpose of storm water mitigation at two separate sites located on Western Colorado University (WCU) campus.
Scope of Services
Base Bid: Full depth reclamation, grading and paving of an existing 90,000 square foot parking lot located adjacent to Escalante Drive, also known as parking area for Kelley Hall, Savage Library, Crystal and Tomichi Halls and Escalante Terrace.  Other work to be completed in the base bid include construction of curb and gutter, sidewalk, MSE retaining wall, construction of a concrete wall extension to raise the height of an existing retaining wall by approximately three feet, installation of a storm water collection system, and construction of a storm water detention/infiltration basin.
Add Alternate 1: Paving of a 16,000 square foot unimproved lot located on the WCU campus at the intersection of North Pitkin Avenue and East Georgia Street.  Work shall include installation of storm water infrastructure, rough grading, subgrade compaction, placement and compaction of base course, placement and compaction of final asphalt surfacing and 12-inch concrete flush curb around perimeter of the parking lot.
Add Alternate 2: Storm water improvements at north entrance to Quigley Hall per annotated Quigley Hall Renovation & Addition, Grading and Drainage Plan.
