The project consists of the addition of a 1,000-sf restroom/concessions facility and associated site improvements to serve the existing Lake Minnequa Park. The restroom/concessions building will require design, permitting, and construction to install the facility that is generally shown in Exhibit A (LAKE MINNEQUA building elevations and floor plan) and further defined in Section 2.56 “Restroom/Concessions Building” of the contract documents. In addition to the structure, site improvements that have been designed by the City of Pueblo are included within the overall scope of the project and further defined within the accompanying Civil Drawings titled “LAKE MINNEQUA PARK AND OPEN SPACE IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 3A”, dated 5/1/2020. The required site improvements include demolition, excavation, import, placement and compaction of fill material, and grading and paving for the installation of a new parking lot. In conjunction with the parking lot improvements, water and sewer main extensions, sidewalk and concrete flatwork installation, and landscape and irrigation installation are an integral part of the overall project.
Restroom/Concessions Building: The work comprises of furnishing all design, materials, equipment, tools, and labor for the installation of a restroom/concessions building and covered patio as generally defined in Exhibit A and Section 2.56 of the contract documents. The general items of work to be performed hereunder consist of design, permitting, fabrication, delivery, installation, utility connections and turnkey completion of one (1) prefabricated metal restroom and concessions building and covered patio for Lake Minnequa Park.
Site/Civil Improvements: The work involves material removal, concrete demolition, import of structural fill, placement and compaction of fill, asphalt paving, concrete sidewalk installation, concrete plaza installation, watermain extension for fire protection, sanitary sewer main extension, irrigation installation, top soil import and placement, and landscape installation. Scope also includes coordination with and management of utility providers for installation of electric service, lighting, communications, a water meter, and other utility services as required to complete the project.
