#002-20 - Justice Center Intake Dock Remodel Project

The Department of Facilities, Fleet, and Emergency Support Services, in conjunction with the Sheriff’s Office, of Douglas County Government, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests bids from responsible qualified general contractors for the remodel of the intake dock area at the Robert A. Christensen Justice Center.
 
This project consists of the remodel of the former crime lab space and current intake dock on the lower level of the south side of the Douglas County Justice Center. The remodel will include an increased Facilities Maintenance area, additional office space, a small press reception area/conference room, and a larger streamlined main intake dock. Exterior site work includes the removal and replacement of an aging staircase and the addition of a materials lift, which will allow smaller deliveries easier access to the main dock finish floor level. Affecting approximately 5,292 square feet of existing space, the project will include but is not limited to, demolition of portions of the existing building, creation of new office spaces, a large intake dock with a new exterior stair to the intake dock, a new materials lift adjacent the stair, new break room, and a new storage space for the Sheriff’s Department. Full height CMU partition walls are required throughout.
