The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) asserts that Critical Facilities Technology is the sole provider for warranty and technical on-site support for the CDOC Datacenter APC Pod units, including both hardware and software. The support agreement encompasses software upgrades and hardware replacements. Given the constraints of available resources, the vendor possesses an in-depth understanding of the environment as they were responsible for its creation.

The APC Datacenter POD system was established by Critical Facility Technology (CFT), which is the sole repair company certified by the State of Colorado. The configuration was customized to fulfill the needs of CDOC, and CFT technicians possess the in-depth knowledge and expertise needed to provide support and maintenance of the system.


This Notice of Proposed Sole Source has been issued to enable any potential competitors or interested parties to provide feedback and/or raise objections regarding the conclusion that Critical Facilities Technology is the exclusive source for procuring these services.
