Description

El Paso County proposes to construct a secondary containment area for the storage of tanks containing magnesium chloride liquid in conformance with the Environmental Protection Agency Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan and a Vactor Pit / Decanting Facility for the treatment of sediment and waste collected from roadway drainage structures.
 
The Project will generally consist of installing new concrete walls, slabs, footings, and precast oil / sand separator at the Department of Public Works’ lower yard at 3275 Akers Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80922.
