Class 6 Mechanic Bodies body with crane, It is the intent of this specification to describe a Heavy-Duty Service 11-foot Mechanic Body with Crane and Hydraulic out riggers to be mounted on an International MV/HV607 extended cab chassis with a 84 inch CA. Winning bidder will work with the chassis vendor to communicate the chassis suspension needs so the proper suspension is ordered. If this communication does not happen the body vendor will be responsible for any costs incurred from adjusting the suspension. IF the truck “leans” upon arrival the unit will be refused until the condition is repaired. The cab and chassis will be purchased by CDOT on a different award. Materials used shall be at least minimum standard as specified and of a quality used commercially, conforming to current engineering and manufacturing practices. All components of the Heavy-Duty Service Body shall be of proper design to safely withstand maximum stresses imposed under normal CDOT use. Any attachments, accessories, tools or other components normally furnished as standard equipment and necessary to the safe and efficient operation of the Heavy-Duty Service Body shall be furnished.
