Description

The Douglas County Parks, Trails and Building Grounds Division, hereinafter referred to as PT&BG, respectfully requests bids from responsible and qualified companies for the repairs to approximately .65 miles of roadbase trail located in Bluffs Regional Park. The successful bidder shall provide all materials, machinery, and labor necessary to complete this project. This project will include, but not be limited to, the various repairs associated with a roadbase trail, all necessary grading, sediment and erosion control components, drainage culverts, rip rap, fencing, gravity retaining wall, concrete grade control beams/water bars, boulders and concrete drainage basins, seeding, and clean up.

ON TUESDAY, APRIL 23, 2024 @ 11:00 A.M., THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY SITE VISIT RELATED TO THIS PROJECT. THE MANDATORY SITE VISIT WILL ALLOW ALL POTENTIAL BIDDERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO VIEW THE WORK SITE LOCATION AND DISCUSS THE PROJECT DETAILS. THE MANDATORY SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD AT THE BLUFFS REGIONAL PARK, 10099 CROOKED STICK TRAIL, LONE TREE, COLORADO 80124. ONLY THOSE PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ATTENDING THE MANDATORY SITE VISIT WILL BE ALLOWED TO SUBMIT A BID ON THIS PROJECT. (please bring a business card, as sign-in sheets will not be passed around)

Please submit three (3) copies of your bid response in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked with the Invitation for Bid (IFB) information listed above. Mail or hand carry all bid responses to Douglas County Government, Finance Department, Purchasing Division, 100 Third Street, Suite 130, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104, prior to the due date and time. Electronic and/or faxed bid responses will not be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to see that their bid response is received on time. Bids will not be considered which are received after the time stated, and any bids so received will be returned unopened. If closure of Douglas County buildings occurs on the day of a bid opening, the bid response must be delivered to the Purchasing Division before 12 noon on the following business day.
