Description

The University of Northern Colorado is requesting a Statement of Qualification from Architects for the preparation of two separate
RENOVATION PROGRAM PLANS. One Architectural/ Engineering/ Consulting Service will be utilized to design both Program Plans.
Candelaria Hall is an 89,904 square feet building located at 2098 14th Avenue, on the UNC west campus. McKee Hall is
approximately 129,846 square feet building located at 1200 21st St. The intent of the project is to review systems and finishes to
resolve deferred maintenance issues and will not change the use of programs in the space. The general occupancy and use of the
building is not expected to significantly change.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum requirements for this project include a license to practice Architecture or Engineering in Colorado, and
completion of projects of similar scope and complexity.
Scope of Services
RFQ for Services of: : Design Services using a State of Colorado “Consultants Agreement” (SC-5.3). The current
selection is only for the Renovation Program Plan phase of the project with no resulting construction until funds are
received. IF the project is funded, UNC retains the right to continue the design process with the selected Programming
Architect OR issue an RFQ for Design Services for the Construction Phase of the project.
