This RFP is issued by the City of Lone Tree on behalf of The City of Lone Tree, The City of Centennial, and The City of Greenwood Village. All three jurisdictions will be participating in the selection process and each reserve the right to select seperate vendors.
This work shall consist of furnishing, configuring, and placing into operation an adaptive traffic
signal control system(s) that detects and collects vehicle data and automatically optimizes the
changing of traffic signals to instantly adapt to real-time traffic demand. System shall include the
components, adaptive operations, software integration (customized and configured for agencies), installation, training, evidence of performance improvements, technical support and warranty.
The selected contractor(s) will be required to follow a Systems Engineering approach, for the deployment of the proposed Adaptive Signal Control System along the Yosemite Corridor. The following Concept of Operations must be reviewed by the contractor, along with interviews of key agency stakeholders. The Contractor shall refine the Concept of Operations, if needed, before proceeding with developing the System Requirements. Deployment shall not proceed until the System Requirements are accepted by the agencies, as well as the proposed testing plans (Verification and Validation Plans). The System shall not be accepted until Training is completed to the satisfaction of the agencies.
