Bidders may either bid on Category 1 alone or on all three Categories. Bidders on Category 1 only
will not be required to provide Bonds described in the next paragraph.
Bidders of all three Categories to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish separate
"Performance and Maintenance" and "Labor and Material Payment" bonds to the City of Boulder,
Colorado. The "Performance and Maintenance" bond and the "Labor and Material Payment" bond shall
be furnished in the amount of $100,000, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents.
It is anticipated that three or four of the lowest responsible and best bids will be accepted; provided,
however, that the City of Boulder, Colorado, acting through its duly authorized representatives shall
have the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informality or irregularities contained in said bids.
Technical irregularities in the bid requirements may be waived if the City determines that such a waiver
does not compromise the integrity of the bidding process.
