Specifications include, but are not limited to: To secure top talent for digital delivery teams, the state envisions using a competitive solicitation process to build and maintain a vendor pool with a group of companies that can consistently meet the needs of state government programs into the future. The future solicitation will be successful if OIT and our customer agencies are able to quickly secure high-performing vendor resource teams for the delivery of small units of work delivered using an agile methodology. Because soliciting for and evaluating proposals for this type of modern, agile solution delivery approach is different from a typical state solicitation, we are seeking input from the broader community, including vendors who may become part of the pool, to assist in drafting a solicitation that is fair, transparent, and ultimately delivers the highest quality pool of vendors for OIT and OIT’s customer agencies. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit that input. A draft of a potential Request for Proposals (RFP) is attached to this RFI. We welcome questions, comments, suggested edits, or any other input from interested parties who want to be a part of moving the delivery of digital government services forward for the people of Colorado.
