The base bid shall include: • Pre-curved running and restraining rail for Curve TAC 6, TAC 7, TBC 7, and TBC 8 (including spirals) • 417 EA – Restraining Rail Tie Assemblies • 24 EA – Transition Ties Assemblies • 34 EA – Pre-cast Concrete Crossing Panels Details/Components All Rail: • Shall be New High Strength (Head Hardened) 115RE rail Restraining rail: • Shall extend 10 feet past the end of the curve on tangent track unless otherwise noted • Have a 2” Flangeway with adjustable restraining rail block assembly • Shall be shop curved and shop drilled on 4 FT (maximum) centers, main rail to be laid out and drilled by the contractor • Shall include separator blocks, shims and hardware as needed • End rail flared per RTD plan Drawing TD-001 • Tie spacing is 27” maximum spacing, center to center Concrete Tie Assemblies shall include: • Concrete ties per RTD standard drawings • Tie pads • Insulators • Galvanized “Pandrol E-clip” rail clips or similar Pre-cast Concrete Crossing Panels • Shall be “Oldcastle Startrack” modules or similar • Shall use galvanized "Pandrol E-clip” rail clips or similar • All fasteners and rail seal shall be included • Shall accommodate restraining rail • May be “chorded” or “pied” to match curve radius The following items shall be specifically excluded: • Systems and signals cabling and fittings • Rail weld kits • Flangeway Filler • Ballast
