This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by The Pueblo City-County Library District (PCCLD) to prospective respondents to submit proposals for services to produce a complete rebrand for PCCLD. This RFP seeks a qualified marketing and communications consultant to evaluate community voice through community listening sessions and develop an updated logo, brand identity, and brand standards style guide. While a rebrand will result in a refreshed look, the project will, ultimately, define PCCLD’s brand. PCCLD serves all of Pueblo County, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to discover information from around the world. Throughout our locations (eight full-service branches, four satellite libraries, and virtual services), we are advocates for ideas, imagination, and information. The mission of PCCLD is to serve as a foundation for our community by offering welcoming, well-equipped and maintained facilities, outstanding collections, and well-trained employees who provide expert service encouraging the joy of reading, supporting lifelong learning and presenting access to information from around the world. The library district continues to receive national recognition, continually elevating its presence, striving to provide the best possible public library experience to the citizens of Pueblo, Colo. ● The district has consistently been named as a Star Library for six consecutive years by the Library Journal. ● In 2018, the district was awarded the National Medal for Museum and Library Service by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. ● PCCLD was named Library of the Year in 2018 by the Colorado State Library. ● The district was awarded the ELGL Knope award for “America’s Best Public Library.” Ultimately, a new logo and accompanying typefaces and color palette will result in a new, modern look that reflects the library district’s elevation as among the leaders in library services and resources in the nation.
