Platte River seeks bid proposals from contractors to rehabilitate and recoat two Phosphorous Removal System (PRS) Solids Contact Clarifiers at its Rawhide Energy Station at 2700 East County Road 82, Wellington, Colorado 80549. Each Solids Contact Clarifier has an inner diameter of 81 feet, a height of 13 feet, and holds an estimated 500,000 gallons of water when in operation. Each clarifier is of concrete construction, with internal steel components including center well, mixer, scraper, and launder system. The work includes recoating all steel components of the PRS Solids Contact Clarifiers, replacing all PRS Solids Contact Clarifiers hardware, and completing metal and concrete repairs, as needed.
