18-630-009 - Woods Curriculum with Instructional Materials & Services

Poudre School District R-1 (the "District") is issuing this request for proposals ("RFP") from vendors for a curriculum with instructional materials and services to be used by students in high school Woods classes, and for related professional development and technology supports for the District's teachers. The curriculum, instructional materials and services must provide all students with rich learning experiences that build critical knowledge and skills fostering college and workforce readiness, and include the following content: Woodworking Safety, Project Selection and Planning, Hand Tools and Operations, Power Woodworking Machines, Project Construction and Assembly, Wood Finishing and Hardware, Measuring & Marking Tools, Joinery and Assembly, Construction including Industry Overview, Design and Layout, Materials, Cabinet Construction, and Career Exploration. The District wishes to begin using the curriculum, materials and services in the fall semester of 2018 for a 10-year period, in accordance with its current curriculum adoption cycle.
