Summary of Specifications:
The project consists of installing, testing and labeling additional data cabling and outlets in designated rooms in an existing Junior High school at the location specified. The existing cabling system consists of Category 5e horizontal cabling and data outlets in the work area, and all contractor supplied cable, hardware and outlets should match those specified. The contractor will: „X Install 98 Cat5e wire runs to new locations. Of these: o 03 are quad outlets. o 43 are double outlets. Flush-mount cut-in boxes should be used wherever possible. „X Install 4 Cat5e wire runs that are additions to existing outlet locations. Of these: o 02 are existing doubles to which two wires are to be added, resulting in a quad. Poudre School District will provide and install the racks, cable runway, all horizontal/vertical management, fiber enclosures and patch panels in the telecommunications closets.
