The Office of the Colorado Child Protection Ombudsman (CPO) is seeking human resource management and employee support and development services (HR services). The CPO is an independent statewide agency, housed in the Colorado Judicial Department (Judicial Department). Similar to other independent agencies of its size, the CPO has historically relied on the Judicial Department to administer human resource services to the agency. However, due to the CPO’s growth during the past seven years, the CPO has spent the past 18 months transitioning its human resources program and processes out of the Judicial Department and under the CPO’s purview. The CPO is seeking a HR services for the remainder of the state fiscal year. Beginning in Fiscal Year 2024-25, the CPO’s HR services will be provided to the CPO, and other independent agencies, by the Office for Administrative Services for Independent Agencies (ASIA). ASIA was created by Senate Bill 23-228.1 Pursuant to this legislation, ASIA will be operational and administering HR services to the CPO no later than July 1, 2024.
