The State of Colorado Judicial Department, by and through the Colorado Supreme Court Library and the Office of the State Court Administrator, referred to herein as “the Judicial Department,” issues this Request For Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of selecting a provider to The Colorado Supreme Court Library (CSCL) which is seeking a complete Integrated Library System (ILS) with end-user friendly services. This system must offer a cloud-hosted solution capable of supporting a public access catalog and circulation, cataloging, reporting, and administrative modules. The Colorado Supreme Court Library (CSCL) is a medium-sized special library with approximately 100,000 items in its print collection. The library’s service area includes all levels of the Colorado Judicial Department, members of the Colorado bar, and the general public. The CSCL is not a lending library; however, judicial officers and their staff may borrow materials, and borrowing is tracked using our ILS’s circulation module. The CSCL is the only law library in the Denver Metro area that is open to the public. As such, the library maintains a collection of print treatises and materials that is tailored to meet the research needs of practitioners and self-represented parties.
