Description

The Metro Wastewater Reclamation District (MWRD) is seeking a contractor to complete construction in support of PAR 1280 - Nuisance Struvite and Dwaterability Improvements Work Package 1. Sealed Bids for the construction of PAR 1280 will be received by MWRD at the Administration Building at 6450 York Street, Denver, Colorado 80229, until 2:00 p.m., July 10, 2018, and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.

PAR 1280 Nuisance Struvite and Dewaterability Improvements Project Work Package 1 – Utility Relocations and Reactor Foundation. The Work consists of (1) utility relocations, (2) protection of existing utilities, (3) new utility corridor (North Gallery), and (4) structural foundations for the Pre- Dewatering Phosphorus Recovery (PDPR) reactor to be completed under Work Package 2.

Bids will only be accepted from those prospective Bidders who have previously been pre-qualified for the Project by Metro Wastewater Reclamation District.

Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security Bond in the amount of 5% of the total Bid. The District reserves the right to reject all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids and to accept the Bid which in its judgment best serves the interests of the District.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held by MWRD and the Engineer commencing at 8:00 a.m. on June 12, 2018 lasting approximately 2 hours. The pre-bid conference shall take place at the District’s Technical Services Building. A site tour will be provided after the pre-bid conference.

Bidders shall submit a Bid on a lump sum basis for the base Bid and include a separate price for each alternate described in the Bidding Documents as provided for in the Bid Form.
