26680 - Special Project Support - High School Reimagined

The District invites proposals from qualified respondents to provide intensive implementation support in the 2024-25 school year. This includes: 

• Being the on-site hub for high school reimagined and navigating the District to move the project forward 
• Working in partnership with the Deputy Superintendent, Chief Academic Officer, and Associate Chief of Communications and Strategic Partnerships to develop a detailed project plan for the first year of our roadmap aligned with the district’s implementation goals 
• Leading and facilitating collaboration with central staff and school leaders to make specific progress aligned with the project plan including regular meetings of the steering committee, individual meetings with schools, retreat experiences etc.  
• Researching and exploring the viability of pathways and seminal experiences within the District’s context; propose, coordinate, and guide learning trips to see models of interest in action 
• Playing a significant role in building out a model pathway if the Districtis awarded an Opportunity Now grant in Round Three 
• Modeling short and long-term structures to successfully support the high school reimagined work within the Teaching & Learning Team and operationalize it within our system 
• Advising the Associate Chief of Communications and Strategic Partnerships in fundraising to support high school reimagined efforts and support corresponding grant report requirements  
• Representing the District in presenting on high school reimagined as needed to internal and external audiences including the Board of Education 
• Setting and monitoring progress metrics for the project for the 2024-25 school year to be documented through the strategic plan monitoring process
